RYS 200, 300, 500 in Rishikesh
Just a couple of days ago I was talking to my husband about how fully aware I am that I have a very fortunate life, we have moved to a new city were we found a nice house which was an amazing change giving that we have always lived in apartments, I have been able to meet amazing people, I have found the opportunity to volunteer at the YMCA as a yoga teacher for kids which I love, and everything is going on pretty well in our lives.
I sure keep all those good things in my mind at all times, however, one afternoon, as I walked alone on my way to teach yoga, I started thinking of all the things that I did at some point in my life and that I still want to do... I want to have time to read all the books I have seating on my shelves, I want to dedicate more time of my day to do yoga and meditation instead of cleaning and cooking, I want to travel and learn more amazing healing techniques, I want to have the time to write so many ideas I have in my mind, I want to develop a workshop for kids to empower them and let them know that no matter what happened or is still happening in their lives, they can break free and create the life they want, I want to have time to paint my mandalas and improve my watercolor skills, I want to have the time to do cross stitch... Oh my, so many things I would like to be able to fit into my day...
Then, after a wonderful class, walking alone on my way back home, I realized that yes, there are many things that I would like to do, but for now, I am doing some others that are very important too... I am enjoying my time with my son, teaching him and learning from him so many things, I am growing as a person and as a yoga teacher, and in all the “small” activities and errands I do every day, I learn something, I have something to share to someone, and I realized that even though you should not dwell on your past, nor your future, it is ok to keep dreaming, to remember moments of time were I was able to do the things that I miss so much, and to know and have the certainty that I will do them again, one day, some day...
And today, I found in my inbox two beautiful messages and I just love the synchronicity.... the confirmation that I am connected with life...
“ For as long as a dream lives inside of you, Marialuz, there's a plan
for its time in space.
OK, Marialuz? So you can now officially chill...”

“On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...
...that dreams get you into the future
and add excitement to the present.
Robert Conklin said that, and he was right.
So dream away, and dream often, and dream big.
And never let anyone talk you out of your dreams.
What is your dream today? Is it vast enough, bold enough,
to hold your soul? Oh, I must have forgotten to tell you.
Dreams are the container of the soul.
That is, they are the Holding Place of God.
So dream big, yes, because the bigger you dream
the more of God you let in!
Love, Your Friend....
Neale Donald Walsch”
So, keep remembering… keep dreaming... keep living ♥
